The Synopsis:

Aymara comes to terms with her identity; she has a Swiss parent and a South American parent, but she does not feel that she belongs completely to either reality. She translates her discomfort primarily through her hair, which she cannot stand and thus becomes a mirror of what she feels is her difference.
